We’re Land

We design and operate platforms for transport environments where vehicle movement and payment need to work reliably at scale.

Our work is focused on making everyday movement simpler and more workable in practice. That means connecting digital systems with physical infrastructure so that transport and tolling work as expected for the people using them.

How our platforms work

Our platforms support how vehicles move through roads, cities, and transport hubs. From PUDO and short-stay activity, to barrierless tolling and congestion charging, we build systems that are used every day and need to perform under real-world conditions.

We work with airports, infrastructure operators, and public authorities to deliver systems that are clear, reliable, and built for long-term operation. This includes platform delivery, integration, and ongoing operation, as well as the governance required to support regulated environments.

Built around how transport actually behaves

Our approach is grounded in how transport systems actually behave. We work closely with partners to design systems that reduce friction in day-to-day operation, improve how movement is managed, and continue to perform as requirements evolve over time.

Across all platforms, we apply a consistent set of principles. Systems should be accurate, transparent, and auditable. They should support daily operations without adding unnecessary complexity. And where intelligence is used, it should assist decision-making while keeping human oversight in place.

We build systems that hold up in the real world, not just on paper.

Our Values

The values that drive us

Curiosity

We work in environments where no two systems behave the same.

Curiosity drives us to understand how transport systems actually operate, not just how they’re designed on paper. We ask questions early, test assumptions, and look closely at how vehicles, rules, and infrastructure interact in practice.

This helps us spot edge cases, reduce risk, and build systems that hold up in day-to-day operation.

Empathy

Transport systems are experienced by real people. Drivers, operators, and the teams responsible for running them all rely on things working as expected.

Empathy means understanding how decisions play out in practice. A rule might make sense on paper but still cause confusion or friction when it’s applied.

We focus on making systems that are not only correct, but clear and workable. That means fewer disputes, better decisions, and more trust in how systems behave.

Balance

Transport systems need to perform under pressure, but they also need to remain workable over time.

Balance, for us, means building systems that meet operational demands without becoming difficult to manage or adapt. We think about performance, usability, and long-term operation together.

This helps ensure what we deliver continues to work as expected, even as conditions change.

Working at land
Working at land

Working at Land means building systems that operate in the real world, at scale.

We focus on understanding how things actually work. That means asking questions early, testing assumptions, and working through problems until they hold up in day-to-day operation. We don’t assume the status quo is right. Systems are continually reviewed and improved based on how they perform in practice, with feedback from operators and real-world use built directly into how we develop and maintain them.

The work is demanding, but it’s grounded. What we build needs to run reliably, not just look right on paper.

The team is collaborative and straightforward. People share context, support each other, and take responsibility for getting things right. There’s a strong focus on clarity, both in how we work together and in what we deliver.

We aim to build things that last. Systems that can be operated, understood, and adapted over time. That means thinking beyond delivery and staying close to how things perform once they’re live.
